Das erste von Philipp August erbaute Herrenhaus. Donjon, der von Karl V. zwischen 1364 und 1370 erbaut wurde, ergänzt zwischen 1373 und 1380 durch die Erhebung der großen Ringmauer. Gründung der Sainte-Chapelle im Jahr 1379 (die Arbeiten wurden von Heinrich II. 1552 abgeschlossen). Schloss, das im 17. Jahrhundert von Louis Le Vau reorganisiert wurde: Hofgarten mit den Gemeinen, Hof des Donjons, Hof des "Château neuf", an dessen Rand er den Pavillon du Roi und den Pavillon de la Reine erbaute. Im 19. Jahrhundert als Militärplatz eingerichtet, nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg restauriert, beherbergt es seit 1948 die historischen Dienste der Armee.

First manor built by Philip Augustus. Dungeon built by Charles V between 1364 and 1370, completed between 1373 and 1380 by the elevation of the large enclosure. Foundation of the Sainte-Chapelle in 1379 (work completed by Henry II in 1552). Castle reorganized in the 17th century by Louis Le Vau: courtyard with the common, courtyard of the keep, courtyard of the "new castle" on the edge of which he built the pavilion of the King and the pavilion of the Queen. Converted into a military establishment in the 19th century, restored after the Second World War, it has housed the historic services of the army since 1948.

Primo maniero costruito da Filippo Augusto. Donjon costruito da Carlo V tra il 1364 e il 1370, completato tra il 1373 e il 1380 con l'innalzamento della grande cinta muraria. Fondazione della Sainte-Chapelle nel 1379 (lavori completati da Enrico II nel 1552). Castello riorganizzato nel XVII secolo da Louis Le Vau: cortile con i comuni, cortile del mastio, cortile del "château neuf" ai cui margini costruì il padiglione del re e quello della regina. Trasformato in una sede militare nel XIX secolo, restaurato dopo la seconda guerra mondiale, ospita i servizi storici dell'esercito dal 1948.

Aménagé en place militaire au XIXe siècle, restauré après la Seconde Guerre mondiale, il abrite les services historiques de l'armée depuis 1948.

Castillo reorganizado en el siglo XVII por Louis Le Vau: corral con los comunes, patio del torreón, patio del "château neuf" en el borde del cual construyó el pabellón del Rey y el pabellón de la Reina. Convertido en una plaza militar en el siglo XIX, restaurado después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, alberga los servicios históricos del ejército desde 1948.
