Since September 2023, a survey of the iconographic collection has been carried out with the assistance of occasional volunteer collaborators from the public service at the Bibliothèque patrimoniale de Laon.
On this occasion, a set of maps and plans was rediscovered, which led to an interest in its owner, Claude Antoine Le Marchants de Cambronne (1742-1836).
Former military became scholar, bibliophile and collector, he gathered during his life a remarkable documentation testifying to his interest in the sciences, geography and knowledge of the world. It is to meet this man and his collections that this exhibition invites the visitor.

In 1124, the Premonstratensians succeeded a chapter of canons. Church built in the second half of the 12th century. Construction of the choir, transept and nave around 1160\. Around 1190, replacement of the original framework by a vault counterbutted by flying buttresses; elevation of the facade of the south arm of the transept. In 1226-1240, the choir was covered with a frame. Construction of the towers until the end of the 13th century. The arrows were shot in 1605\. Between 1616 and 1621, construction of the abbey palace and the pavilion located in the garden. In 1736, reconstruction by the architects Charles and Nicolas Bonhomme. Reconstruction of the northeast tower in 1740\. Reconstruction of the north and west wings and galleries of the cloister from 1779 to 1788\. After the Revolution, the church became a parish and the other buildings were converted by the engineer Duroché to house the Hôtel-Dieu in 1810\. In 1944, destruction of the buildings surrounding the courtyard.
