Im Jahr 2024 feiert das ehemalige Grand Hotel Lombard in Gap den 100. Jahrestag der Grundsteinlegung. Ein Gebäude im Bahnhofsviertel, das vom Architekten Georges SERBONNET aus Grenoble (1882-1974) für den Hotelbesitzer Pierre LOMBARD entworfen wurde. Die Arbeiten dauerten bis 1926 (für den ersten Baukörper) und bis Mitte der 1930er Jahre für den Baukörper entlang der Avenue Foch.
Das alte Grand Hotel Lombard ist ein Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Seine imposante Architektur verbindet die Codes und Dekore «Jugendstil» und «Art Deco» sowohl an den Fassaden als auch in den Innenräumen mit dem Bild seines prächtigen Vorraums mit seinen Mosaiken und seinem historischen Aufzug. Ein nüchternes und prestigeträchtiges Hotel, das die modernsten Technologien von damals bis Mitte der 1960er Jahre konzentrierte, bevor es 1971 verkauft und in private Wohnungen umgewandelt wurde. Ein Ort, an dem auch viele Persönlichkeiten aus Politik, Sport, Kunst und darstellenden Künsten vorbeikommen, wie zum Beispiel Edith PIAF im August 1959 nach der Rückkehr von ihrer amerikanischen Tournee. Ein Gebäude, das während des Zweiten Weltkriegs Sitz der Besatzungsmacht (Italiener und Deutsche) war.
«Le Lombard», wie es heute genannt wird, beherbergt heute im Erdgeschoss die Räumlichkeiten der Agence de Développement des Hautes-Alpes (Eigentum des Departements), die insbesondere in den alten Salons und im großen Speisesaal des Hotels untergebracht sind.
Anlässlich dieser 41. Europäischen Tage des Kulturerbes und anlässlich des 100. Jahrestages der Grundsteinlegung wird «Le Lombard» den ganzen Samstag, 21. September 2024, im Rhythmus der Zwanziger Jahre enthüllen. Ein Blick in die Vergangenheit und in die Zukunft mit dem Programm, einer Ausstellung von Fotos und Archiven über das Gebäude, Besuchen des Erdgeschosses (Halle und Räumlichkeiten der Agentur für die Entwicklung der Hochalpen, die einzigen öffentlich zugänglichen Räume)Eine Präsentation von Oldtimern mit einem musikalischen Aperitif auf der Terrasse am Mittag der hochalpinen Gruppe "Les semelles 2 vents".
Darüber hinaus wird im Rahmen des Jahrestages der Grundsteinlegung des Lombard im Jahr 1924 ein Originalposter in limitierter Auflage, das den Plan einer Erhebung der ersten Fassade von Georges SERBONNET wiedergibt, herausgegeben und zum Verkauf angeboten.
Ein einzigartiger und festlicher Tag, um sich für ein paar Stunden wieder anzueignen, die Vergangenheit dieses historischen Gebäudes, das immer noch sehr beliebt bei Gapençais und Hochgebirgen ist.

In this year 2024, the former Grand Hotel Lombard de Gap celebrates the centenary of the laying of its foundation stone. A building built in the station district by the Grenoble architect Georges SERBONNET (1882-1974) for the hotelier-restaurateur Pierre LOMBARD. Work that lasted until 1926 (for the first building body) and then until the mid-1930s for the building body along Avenue Foch.
The former Grand Hotel Lombard is an emblematic work of the city. Its imposing architecture combines the codes and decorations «Art Nouveau» and «Art Deco» both on the facades and in the interior spaces in the image of its sumptuous vestibule with its mosaics and its period elevator. A hotel both sober and prestigious, which concentrated the most modern technologies of the time until the mid-1960s before its sale and transformation into private apartments in 1971. A place of passage also many personalities of the world of politics, sports, arts and spectacle in the image of Edith PIAF in August 1959 on the return of her American tour. A building that was previously one of the headquarters of the occupying forces (Italian then German) during the Second World War.
«Le Lombard» as it is now called, houses today on the ground floor, the premises of the Development Agency of the Hautes-Alpes (Property of the Department) installed in particular in the old lounges and in the large dining room of the hotel.
On the occasion of these 41st European Heritage Days and on the occasion of the centenary of the laying of the foundation stone, «Le Lombard» will unveil all day of Saturday, September 21, 2024 to the rhythm of the Roaring Twenties. A nod to the past and the future with the program, an exhibition of photos and archives on the building, visits of the ground floor (hall and premises of the Agency of Development of the Hautes-Alpes, only spaces accessible to the public), a presentation of vintage cars with a musical aperitif on the terrace at midday animated by the high-alpine group "Les semelles 2 vents".
In addition, as part of the anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone of the Lombard in 1924, an original poster in limited edition reproducing the plan of an elevation of the first facade made by Georges SERBONNET will be published and put on sale.
A unique and festive day to reappropriate for a few hours, the past of this historic building still very popular with the Gapençais and Haut-Alpins.

In questo anno 2024, l'ex Grand Hotel Lombard di Gap celebra il centenario della posa della sua prima pietra. Un edificio realizzato nel quartiere della stazione dall'architetto Georges SERBONNET (1882-1974) per l'albergatore-restauratore Pierre LOMBARD. Lavori che si estenderanno fino al 1926 (per il primo corpo di costruzione) poi fino alla metà degli anni 1930 per il corpo di costruzione che costeggia l'avenue Foch.
L'antico Grand Hotel Lombard è un'opera emblematica della città. La sua architettura imponente mescola i codici e i decori «Art Nouveau» e «Art Deco» sia sulle facciate che negli spazi interni all'immagine del suo sontuoso vestibolo con i suoi mosaici e il suo ascensore d'epoca. Una struttura alberghiera sobria e prestigiosa, che concentrava le tecnologie più moderne dell'epoca fino alla metà degli anni '1960 prima della sua vendita e trasformazione in appartamenti privati nel 1971. Un luogo di passaggio anche di molte personalità del mondo della politica, dello sport, delle arti e dello spettacolo come Edith PIAF nell'agosto 1959 al ritorno dal suo tour americano. Un edificio che prima era uno degli assedi delle forze di occupazione (italiane e tedesche) durante la seconda guerra mondiale.
«Il Lombardo» come lo si chiama ormai, ospita oggi al piano terra i locali dell'Agenzia di Sviluppo delle Alte Alpi (Proprietà del Dipartimento) installati in particolare negli antichi saloni e nella grande sala da pranzo dell'hotel.
In occasione di queste 41 Giornate Europee del Patrimonio e in occasione del centenario della posa della prima pietra, «Il Lombardo» si svelerà tutta la giornata di sabato 21 settembre 2024 al ritmo degli anni folli. Un cenno al passato e al futuro con in programma una mostra di foto e archivi sull'edificio, visite al piano terra (hall e locali dell'Agenzia di Sviluppo delle Alte Alpi, unici spazi accessibili al pubblico)una presentazione di automobili d'epoca con un aperitivo musicale in terrazza a metà giornata animato dal gruppo alto-alpino "Le solette 2 venti".
Inoltre, in occasione dell'anniversario della posa della prima pietra del Lombardo nel 1924, un manifesto originale in edizione limitata che riproduce il piano di un innalzamento della prima facciata realizzato da Georges SERBONNET sarà pubblicato e messo in vendita.
Una giornata unica e festosa per riappropriarsi per qualche ora, il passato di questo edificio storico sempre molto apprezzato dai Galli e dalle Alpi.

En cette année 2024, l’ancien Grand Hôtel Lombard de Gap célèbre le centenaire de la pose de sa première pierre. Un édifice réalisé dans le quartier de la gare par l’architecte grenoblois Georges SERBONNET (1882-1974) pour l’hôtelier-restaurateur Pierre LOMBARD. Des travaux qui s’étaleront jusqu’en 1926 (pour le premier corps de bâtiment) puis jusqu’au milieu des années 1930 pour le corps de bâtiment longeant l’avenue Foch.
L’ancien Grand Hôtel Lombard est un ouvrage emblématique de la ville. Son architecture imposante mêle les codes et les décors « Art Nouveau » et « Art Déco » tant sur les façades que dans les espaces intérieurs à l’image de son somptueux vestibule avec ses mosaïques et son ascenseur d’époque. Un établissement hôtelier à la fois sobre et prestigieux, qui concentrait les technologies les plus modernes de l’époque jusqu’au milieu des années 1960 avant sa vente et sa transformation en appartements privés en 1971. Un lieu de passage également de nombreuses personnalités du monde de la politique, du sports, des arts et du spectacle à l’image notamment d’Edith PIAF en Août 1959 au retour de sa tournée américaine. Un bâtiment qui fut auparavant, l’un des sièges des forces d'occupation (Italiennes puis Allemandes) durant la seconde guerre mondiale.
« Le Lombard » comme on le surnomme désormais, abrite aujourd’hui au rez-de-chaussée, les locaux de l’Agence de Développement des Hautes-Alpes (Propriété du Département) installés notamment dans les anciens salons et dans la grande salle à manger de l’hôtel.
A l'occasion de ces 41èmes Journées Européennes du Patrimoine et à l’occasion du centenaire de la pose de la première pierre, « Le Lombard » se dévoilera toute la journée du Samedi 21 septembre 2024 au rythme des années folles.
Un clin d’œil au passé et à l’avenir avec au programme, une exposition de photos et d’archives sur le bâtiment, des visites du rez-de-chaussée (hall et locaux de l’Agence de Développement des Hautes-Alpes, seuls espaces accessibles au public), une présentation de voitures automobiles d’époque avec un apéritif musical en terrasse à la mi-journée animé par le groupe haut-alpin "Les semelles 2 vents".
De plus, dans le cadre de l’anniversaire de la pose de la première pierre du Lombard en 1924, une affiche originale en édition limitée reproduisant le plan d’une élévation de la première façade réalisé par Georges SERBONNET sera éditée et mise en vente.
Une journée unique et festive pour se réapproprier pour quelques heures, le passé de ce bâtiment historique toujours très prisé des gapençais et des haut-alpins.

Un edificio realizado en el barrio de la estación por el arquitecto de Grenoble Georges SERBONNET (1882-1974) para el hotelero-restaurador Pierre LOMBARD. Obras que se extenderán hasta 1926 (para el primer cuerpo de edificio) y luego hasta mediados de los años 1930 para el cuerpo de edificio que bordea la avenida Foch.
El antiguo Grand Hotel Lombard es una obra emblemática de la ciudad. Su imponente arquitectura combina los códigos y las decoraciones «Art Nouveau» y «Art Deco» tanto en las fachadas como en los espacios interiores, a imagen de su suntuoso vestíbulo con sus mosaicos y su ascensor de época. Un establecimiento hotelero sobrio y prestigioso, que concentraba las tecnologías más modernas de la época hasta mediados de los años 1960 antes de su venta y transformación en apartamentos privados en 1971. Un lugar de paso también de numerosas personalidades del mundo de la política, del deporte, de las artes y del espectáculo a la imagen en particular de Edith PIAF en agosto de 1959 al regreso de su gira americana. Un edificio que fue antes, uno de los sitios de las fuerzas de ocupación (italianas y luego alemanas) durante la segunda guerra mundial.
«Le Lombard», como se le llama ahora, alberga hoy en la planta baja los locales de la Agencia de Desarrollo de los Altos Alpes (Propiedad del Departamento) instalados sobre todo en los antiguos salones y en el gran comedor del hotel.
Con motivo de estas 41 Jornadas Europeas de Patrimonio y con ocasión del centenario de la colocación de la primera piedra, «Le Lombard» se revelará toda la jornada del sábado 21 de septiembre de 2024 al ritmo de los años locos. Un guiño al pasado y al futuro con el programa, una exposición de fotos y archivos sobre el edificio, visitas a la planta baja (hall y locales de la Agencia de Desarrollo de los Altos Alpes, únicos espacios accesibles al público)una presentación de coches de época con un aperitivo musical en la terraza al mediodía animado por el grupo alto-alpino "Las suelas 2 vientos".
Además, en el marco del aniversario de la colocación de la primera piedra del Lombard en 1924, se editará y pondrá a la venta un cartel original en edición limitada que reproduce el plan de una elevación de la primera fachada realizado por Georges SERBONNET.
Un día único y festivo para reapropiarse por unas horas, el pasado de este edificio histórico siempre muy apreciado por los Gapençais y los altos alpinos.
