Of southern Gothic type with a Romanesque style portal, the church was enlarged and rebuilt several times due to numerous destructions (Hundred Years War).
It is now 17 m wide, 40 m long and 45 m high. The bell tower is the work of Laurent Clary, master mason who participated in the construction of the building in 1543.
The church contains many treasures, such as the lead baptismal font (13th century), the organs and four paintings by Jean-Baptiste Despax (18th century).
