Jean-Marc de Pas, sculptor, landscaper and poet, author of many works in public or private space especially in Normandy, created the Sculpture Garden on his childhood lands for 35 years, and opened his workshop on site in 1989.
On the occasion of the Heritage Days, Jean-Marc de Pas, also author of the Little Prince bronze installed last September at the entrance of the Villa Albertine on Ve Avenue in New York, will open the doors of his workshop and share with the public the experience of giving life to the material, with the creation of a work in tribute to his father Louis de Pas (precursor of pony riding in France) and the shellands, allowing to understand the process of creation of clay with bronze.
These days are also an opportunity to discover a family estate founded in 1620 by Charles Le Pesant, cousin of the mother of Pierre and Thomas Corneille, remained since in the family, the pony-club created in 1965 by Louis de Pas always managed by his son Thierry and the Sculpture Garden surrounding the castle created by Jean-Marc de Pas since 1985, labeled "Remarkable Garden",
as well as several exposures:
. Heritage days: Archive photos on the creation of the pony club of Bois-Guilbert by Louis de Pas in 1965, managed by his son Thierry who will transmit to his children in 2025. Presentation of the car with rotating headlights brand Pégase created by Etienne d'Arboval grandfather of J.M. de Pas in the 1920s.
. Permanent exhibition: The Life and Work of Pierre Le Pesant de Boisguilbert (1646-1714) ancestor of the family, precursor of the political economy (label "Maison des illustres").
. Temporary exhibition: 80 years "SAINT EXUPERY - Commandant, Aviator and Writer" in partnership with the Fondation A. de Saint Exupéry pour la Jeunesse, sponsored by Michel Bussi: archives, facsimiles, drawings, bracelet, selected illustrations of the comic in 3 volumes by Cédric Fernandez, sculptures by Jean-Marc de Pas including The Little Prince of New York (2nd copy in bronze).
