CIB Reenactor / Memories of reenactors

The CIB Reenactor Association revived the arrival of the American liberators on September 15, 1944. A convoy of about fifteen vehicles will head towards the center of the city and 80 troops will lead the historical reconstruction of the old town to Stanislas Square.
Come celebrate the liberators in front of City Hall.
A concert by the Harmonie Nancéienne will take place from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. It will be an opportunity to dance to the swing rhythms of post-war music.

Place Stanislas is a square belonging to a classical urban complex, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983\. Commissioned by the Duke of Lorraine Stanislas Leszczyński, it was built between 1751 and 1755 under the direction of the architect Emmanuel Héré. Its name and its central statue evolve according to the upheavals of the history of France; it bears its current name since 1831.
