Die Gefängnisse Saint-Paul und Saint-Joseph wurden im 19. Jahrhundert in Lyon südlich des Bahnhofs Perrache nebeneinander gebaut. Sie wurden 2009 stillgelegt, von der UCLy saniert und 2015 eingeweiht. Wie Victor Hugo sagte, "eine Schule zu eröffnen bedeutet, ein Gefängnis zu schließen". Die 1875 gegründete Katholische Universität von Lyon hat sich entschieden, in den Standort zu investieren und einen Campus zu schaffen, der sich der Stadt und der Welt öffnet.

Disused since 2009, they were rehabilitated by the UCLy and inaugurated in 2015. As Victor Hugo advocated, "opening a school is closing a prison". The Catholic University of Lyon, founded in 1875, chose to invest the site and create a campus open to the city and the world.

L'Università Cattolica di Lione, fondata nel 1875, ha scelto di investire il sito e di creare un campus aperto sulla città e sul mondo.

Las cárceles de San Pablo y San José fueron construidas una junto a la otra en el siglo XIX en Lyon, al sur de la estación de Perrache. Abandonadas desde 2009, han sido rehabilitadas por la UCLy e inauguradas en 2015. Como preconizaba Victor Hugo, "abrir una escuela es cerrar una prisión". La Universidad Católica de Lyon, fundada en 1875, decidió invertir el sitio y crear un campus abierto a la ciudad y al mundo.
