Installation of a sculpture by the artist Jean-Marc VOILLOT
Through the representation of the installation «Evolution», which is composed of three modules, three Romanesque doors at different stages of evolution, the walker or the passerby is invited to a magical moment of poetry on the basin, opposite the Chapel of the priory of the Val des Nymphes of the XII century of La Garde-Adhémar.
The two doors, aligned one in front of the other, with identical opening dimensions, (that of the chapel and that of the installation on the basin) highlight the architecture of the heritage and play on the presence of water, symbol of the place, of its past history...ancient cult dedicated to nymphs mothers, deities of waters and fertility.
Composed mainly of natural elements, wood... the work will integrate into the natural site while bringing magic and poetry.
The installation will offer a reading of the landscape, a new point of view while architectural the space.
An invitation to travel...artistic spirit.
This installation is part of a circuit between 5 villages of the Drôme Provençale: LA GARDE ADHEMAR, ST PAUL TROIS CHATEAUX, SAINT RESTITUT, VALAURIE, DONZERE
