The cathedral, located in the heart of the old town, dates back to the Middle Ages. The primitive building from the end of the 11th century was enlarged in the following century to reach the current dimensions. One can admire many painted works in the side chapels: Daret, Nicolas and Pierre Mignard or even Parrocel. Its cloister, a haven of peace and freshness, originally located between the cathedral church and that of the canons – now disappeared – was built at the beginning of the 13th century.
