The Romanesque church Saint Jaume ( Jacques) of Plan d'Aups Ste Baume

• Built according to the principles of Romanesque art, this church presents itself as a jewel of the XI and XII centuries.
• The Calvary of the sixteenth presents a Mary Magdalene wearing a pomegranate dress signs of divine (or royal) fertility.
• It also has in place an "axis of the world", being one of the only three churches in our region to still carry this orifice uniting heaven and earth,
• Finally it includes pieces of red marble of the same origin as those that frame the portrait of Louis XIV in Versaille.
