Visit of the Comoedia Theatre
In 1925, the Aubagnais discovered for the first time the Comœdia, talking cinema and Music-hall. Throughout the 1950s and until its closure in 1977, the theatre was a major performing arts venue in the city. This is to say if its history is part of the heritage of our city! In 1984, the first picks of his rebirth awakened the rich hours of this room in the heart of many Aubagnais. In 1986, the theatre was given a new look. More modern, more convenient, more comfortable, it became a multi-show venue. During its history, it has welcomed among others: Louis Jouvet, Gilbert Bécaud, Charles Trenet, Marcel Maréchal, Gérard Philippe, Tino Rossi, Yves Montand, Sacha Distel, Le mime Marceau, Raymond Devos, Michel Petrucciani, Zazie, Annie Girardot, Philippe Caubère, Mauranne, Maxime Le Forestier, Georges Moustaki, Daniel Auteuil and many others! This visit offers a discovery of the history of this mythical place, its backstage, lodges, bridges, but also the trades that make this place of spectacle and culture live.
