MOUNTAIN CINEMATHEQUE

Exhibition on mountain cinema and mountaineering and virtual reality

Through a selection of films shot in the Alps and the great mountains of the world, the exhibition offers a look at mountain cinema. From the first films to the most recent releases, from the expedition story to the animal documentary, the route offers an immersive experience of high-altitude filming. Come and discover the masterpieces of mountain cinema and some gems from the collections of the Cinémathèque. Take the opportunity to fly over the Hautes-Alpes in a hot air balloon or to climb the cliff of Céüse in complete safety, to live a few moments in immersion with a shepherd or a farrier: come and test virtual reality!
