Day hike organized by the «Amis de Jouques». This little-known masterpiece of our heritage, built nearly 2000 years ago, brought the waters of the Jouques springs to Aix, about 31 km away, through and under the hills. The «Amis de Jouques» propose to make you discover the remains during a day hike. The appointment will be at 9 am sharp, in Peyrolles. A bus will take us to Jouques, starting point of the hike. After a walk through woods of about 10 km, with small slopes, many stops for comments and a break for a lunch out of the bag, The group will join the vehicles around 5:00 p.m. Walking shoes and good physical condition are required along with a flashlight, a bottle of water, lunch from the bag and weather-appropriate clothing. A contribution of 7 € will be requested for transport by bus. Minors must be accompanied. Registration is mandatory with lesamisdejouques@orange.fr, the number of places being limited.
