The association «Les Amis de l'Arbre à l'Ouvrage» works to promote the gestures and techniques of wood craftsmen through the transmission of knowledge related to woodwork and the creation of a future museum space that will be entirely dedicated to him at L'Argentière-La Bessée.
Rich in an exceptional collection of more than 4000 objects and tools as an extension of the hand of the craftsman, this project aims to be fully embodied by the actors of the wood sector so that they can make live the «intelligent gesture» and sensitive of the artist.
Les Amis de l'Arbre à l'Ouvrage and the museum museum is suitable for an intervention around the collections of Queyras.
From 14:30 to 16:30, a demonstration of wood carving proposed in front of the museum by Claude and Pierre Grossan will allow you to discover the secrets of making rosettes and other patterns visible on the movable objects of Queyras
