Church of Saint-Aubin de Pouancé
The church of Saint-Aubin is the first church of Pouancé: the first construction dates from the year 1110.
The chapel of Saint-Jacques (in the cemetery of Saint-Aubin)
The chapel was chosen to remember the sacrifice of the 44 children of the parish who fell in the field of honour (1914-1918).
In 2014-2015, the association "heritage and culture of Pouancé", the EPIDE center of Combrée and the town joined forces to enhance the chapel.

The Saint-Jacques chapel is located in the cemetery of Saint Aubin de Pouancé. The chapel of Saint Jacques was near the pond of the same name south of the cure of Saint Aubin.
It was founded in 1502 by Clément HERBERT, parish priest, is presenter Mathurin D'ANDIGNÉ on October 6, 1570.
In 1825, its condition required considerable repairs and it was in a difficult place of access.
Jules JULLIOT, priest of the parish and the council of frabrique decided that it would be demolished and transferred to the new cemetery which did not yet have a religious building, what the parishioners demanded.
The sharecroppers are invited to make «Gratis» the transport of materials and it is Julien CHAUSSE MARGUILLIER DES TRÉPASSÉS who is responsible for all the work.
This chapel was chosen to remember the sacrifice of the 44 children of the parish who fell in the field of honor.
