The castle and the seigneury date back to the early Middle Ages. There were several successive castles, built by the lords of Grézille, the Lancelots-Turpin of Montmorency and the Marshal of Maillé-Brézé. The current castle and the estate date only from the nineteenth century and were built on the site of the old castle. In 1814, he was bought by Count Baillou de la Brosse and it is his son who will give him his current face. The reconstruction is due to JOLY LETERME. The castle was completed in 1865, date inscribed on a keystone. In 1913, the Baillou de la Brosse sold the estate to Henri Fricotelle who modernized it, installed an elevator, and installed an electricity grid. He also built a portal decorated by the sculteur Voisine in 1925\. In the woods, Fricotelle built a swimming pool in 1926, inspired by both the ancient thermal architecture and the semicircular colonnade of Ardouin Mansart in Versailles.
