It was built in the 15th century in a valley called Bethelian, near a spring. This flamboyant Gothic building is linked to the Nantes bishop Du Chaffault, advisor to Duke François II. Built by the artisans of the ducal castle and the cathedral of Nantes, the work will continue under the rule of Anne of Brittany. Restored in 1994 by J. Louis Boistel, its design of pinnacles has been very controversial.
