This old water mill already existed in the seventeenth century. Modernized in 1879 by its owner, the Marquis de Goyon, it was bought by Albert Visset in 1949\. In 1962, a fire almost completely destroyed the mill. Albert Visset had it rebuilt and invested in more modern equipment. After his death in 1974, the mill operated for another year and then stopped. In 2023, Lionel a son of Albert and his partner Marie transforms the old mill into a cottage for 14 people in full accommodation. An ideal stopover between Nantes and Chateaubriant.
