Initiated by the commander Michel (Claude de Baissac) British officer of the S.O.E, 4 parachutes of equipment took place on 28 and 30 June, then on 2 and 8 July 1944 on the ground of «PANAMA». 40 tons of weapons are dropped for FTPF groups of Calvados, Ile et Vilaine, Manche-Sud and Nord-Mayenne. A stele was installed on site in tribute to the FTP group
