Presentation of UCO Palaeontological Collections
This year, during the European Heritage Days, come and discover the paleontological collections of UCO. Since 1877, when the chair of geology was created, the geological heritage of UCO has been greatly enriched, thanks to the work of successive teachers and the generosity of various donors, some of whom are particularly famous.
After a brief presentation of the history of this heritage, several pieces representative of these various collections will be presented. The scientific and heritage interest of this ensemble will be highlighted.
This conference is free of charge, subject to availability. Reception takes place in the lobby of the Jeanneteau building (entrance via 6 rue Merlet de la Boulaye)
Also to be discovered in the reception hall, animation by the students of the ANaturAE association around Robert Corillion, professor who marked the teaching of botany at the UCO in the twentieth century.
