Once again this year, the Château d'Hauterives will open its doors to visitors for the European Heritage Days to be held on 16 and 17 September. A great opportunity to discover the history of the castle of Hauterives, its buildings, its chapel, its flower garden and its vegetable garden.
During these two exceptional days, the castle will host, in its former stables, an exhibition by José Daoudal, landscape painter renowned for the beauty of its skies and the lightness of its clouds.
José Daoudal defines himself as "an outdoor painter", sensor of atmospheres and sensations. It is in nature facing the pattern over the seasons that he likes to paint light, sky and water. He has painted many places mayennais. The exhibition at the Château d'Hauterives will present more than 30 works, available for purchase. The Château d'Hauterives will open its doors on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September from 12:00 to 18:30.
