The Musée-Bibliothèque was inaugurated in 1889 under the aegis of Charles Charbonnier, mayor and in the presence of Charles Garnier, architect of the Paris Opera. Due to security problems, the municipal museum closed in 1993\. After a careful rehabilitation, the Museum-Library and the Fonds-Ancien reopened their doors in 2009 in the form of cabinets of curiosities. You will discover many treasures: from the illuminated manuscript to the Beaux-Arts paintings deposited by the State as well as an impressive collection of naturalised animals.
