Enjoy a weekend dedicated to the vitality of popular arts and traditions in Corrèze and especially in Brive in connection with the collections of the Labenche museum. Led by the association Pastourelles de Brive, you can participate in:

  • 14h: walk in the museum, in stories and music, with a demonstration of popular arts.
  • 14h45: discover costumed dance shows.

Building of Renaissance style built by 1540 at the request of Jean de Calvimont; Lord of Labenche. He(It) belonged successively to the families of Calvimont, Dumas, Sabruguet-Damarzid. Louis XIII domiciled(resided) during its visit of Brive there. Bought in 1829 by the bishop de Tulle, he became the property of the City of Brive in 1906.
