Exceptional park, arboretum and sculptures
The park and its arboretum, created in the 19th century, are true natural treasures. They contain treasures such as a Thujopsis from 1802 and a majestic Douglas fir from 1895. Through five kilometres of forest trails, you can immerse yourself in this unspoilt nature. The island in the middle of the river is covered with magnificent rhododendrons. The exhibition of several sculptures adds an artistic touch to the ensemble. You can admire the monumental earth sculpture entitled «The Great Swimmer» made by Gerhard Lentink, as well as the work of Marc Duquesnoy from 2008, sculpted from the stump of a tree, combining wood and porcelain. On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, you will have the opportunity to visit the park freely throughout the day, or to participate in guided tours led by the owner. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to discover the history and beauty of this exceptional place.
