Discover freely the casemate of the Atlantic Wall with its anti-tank fortress guns. The type 506d casemate of La Hume is part of the «Ar.234» position of the Atlantic Wall, which is the second German line of defense in the Arcachon Bay. It was designed to house a 4.7 cm anti-tank gun of Czechoslovak origin, as well as personnel and ammunition.

This park allows to discover the richness of plants that developed around this Napoleonic channel (including some cork oaks) and to admire the clear waterfalls of the old locks destroyed during the war. The Landes Canal is an artificial route, remnant of Vauban, which should have made it possible to connect the Arcachon Basin to Bayonne through the Landes ponds.
