It was in the course of December 1893 that a ploughman unearthed two terracotta vases containing a set of gold objects: a torque of solid gold weighing 762 g, a kind of large open rigid necklace, 73 small gold ingots weighing each 7.30 g, a gold wire coiled in spiral, an oval and flat ingot, a square ingot, and about 325 Gallic gold coins. Unfortunately, as soon as it was discovered, the treasure was scattered and part of it was rebuilt...
