The local court of Sarlat opens its doors for a guided tour and commented by Pierre Cousturian, judge of litigation of the protection and vice-president in charge of the court of proximity of Sarlat.
Justice explained to young and old: For the little ones, an exhibition on the functioning of justice will be presented to you, and for the larger ones, the functioning of the court of proximity, its particularities and the issues of access to law and local justice. A multifaceted visit: Designed and built by Auguste Dubet, this palace is a typical illustration of the places of justice erected in the nineteenth century. The court of Sarlat was also the place of passage of a sociologist and major jurist, Gabriel Tarde. It was also chosen as a location on several occasions, and inspired Ridley Scott.
