This abbey church, made of Sarladaises stones and lauzes typical of the Black Périgord, is considered the most beautiful fortified church in the region and invites contemplation. It is difficult not to fall under the spell of the 30-metre-high bell tower-porch of the Abbey of Saint-Amand-de-Coly, which is distinguished by its huge pointed arch arch framing the entrance door to the church.
