Visit the mill of Bénesse-lès-Dax as you have never seen it!

This year, on the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the windmill of Bénesse-lès-Dax will host the exhibition "Agricultural Odyssey: 150 years of history of agriculture seen by the press". The mill will come to life. During a guided tour, come and discover its operating mechanism!

Windmill dating from before 1750, restored in 2017 and operational in 2019\. The only windmill in Les Landes, with two pairs of wheels making two types of gluten-free flours: corn and buckwheat.
Unique in France, with a roof surmounted by a square cob.
Equipped with a two-way generator allowing the production of electricity or/and flour.
Located on a remarkable site with 360° views of the Pyrenees and the Chalosse.
