For this 2023 edition of «Histoire de bahuts», the C.A.U.E 64 worked with the high school students of the Lycée Cantau in Anglet, leading various workshops to help them decipher architecture, familiarize themselves with consumer mediation, prepare and conduct visits.
This project involves having a class or group of students work on the heritage of the institution (architectural, artistic, scientific collections, etc.), so that students can present it during the European Heritage Days. Based on historical and bibliographical research, they create mediation tools to build a commented visit path that will enhance the heritage of their high school.

A farm in Cantaou appears on the 1832 land register.
This building, demolished in 1863, was replaced by a superb house, then a chapel in 1868, housing and stables in 1890\. In 1911, a demolition of the chapel and an addition terrace and turret defined the main building called «The Castle». The vocational training centre «El Cantau», opened in October 1945, but the origin of the latter is older because the centre was a transfer of Mouguerre after a youth yard, which today would be called «Schoolyard».
