The Turgot high school, ex " Professional National School ", is emblematic of history(story) of education, artistic history(story) and local history(story): three stories(trouble) registered in time(period) as much as in region. Built from 1912, its monumental architecture represents the ambition of time(period) material(subject) of apprenticeship and of training(formation) for the largest number. In its walls, the fresco of "Arts and crafts", the bas-relief and the finely wrought objects in ironworks, in aesthetics Art deco, keep(preserve) the track of prestigious artists. His(Her,Its) collection of scientific and technical objects, his(her,its) remarkable artistic heritage make an outstanding establishment. Since 2012, it shelters eight old(former) stained-glass windows of the abbey of Conches, realised by the workshop Chigot of Limoges and drawn by Pierre Parot, old(former) professor of the ENP. The establishment is labelled Heritage the XXth century since 2009.
