The museum brings together a collection of French figurative sculptures from the first half of the 20th century, in the medieval building of the Donjon Lacataye and its gardens. Originally intended to house the works of Montois sculptors Charles Despiau (1874-1946) and Robert Wlérick (1882-1944), one can also discover those of independent sculptors, classical or modernist, as well as temporary exhibitions.
