Renamed «Memory Pole», the municipal archives are now located in a part of the old mill of Gajac. Refurbished, this place offers all the conditions required for its new function. It can accommodate 3 times the current volume of archives, or 3 linear km, thus ensuring optimal preservation of documents. Composed of 3 levels, 2 of which are currently used, the Memory Pole includes 2 large storage rooms, a reading room housing the historical library of archives, a pedagogical workshop room intended for the reception of school students and conferences, as well as a space dedicated to the iconographic and photographic collections.
