The Town Hall of pseudo-Renaissance style typical of the late nineteenth century was built from 1882 (laying of the foundation stone) by architects Victor Dutocq and Charles Simonet. The stone facade is 40 meters high. A large porch supports the first floor. The entire building is richly decorated with columns, stucco and gilding. Many sculptures and paintings trace the history of the city.
