Château-Musée, ville de Nemours

For this new summer season, the Château-Museum is opening a second temporary exhibition dedicated to the collections of the institution. This second version is dedicated to the theme of the portrait. From the Middle Ages to the contemporary era, the representation of individuals will fascinate artists. They seek to perpetuate the memory of people, represent their beauty, expressions, milestones in their lives. No one is forgotten and no one is spared, especially by the caricatures that will know their hour of glory in the 19th century. The exhibition once again reserves a place for contemporary art. Following a call for applications, the artist-photographer Fabrice Milochau offers us a game of glance on several nemourians.
