Protestant temple of Pentemont Granted to the Protestant church by Napoleon I in 1804, the temple of Pentemont occupies a former Catholic chapel of the abbey of Pentemont. A perfect example of 18th century religious architecture, the balance and clarity of this chapel is exceptional. The Cavaillé-Coll organ, recently restored, is one of the most beautiful in Paris. During the Heritage Days, visitors will be able to hear pages of sacred music by J.-S. Bach alternating with hymns and psalms of the Protestant psalter. To answer the theme of this edition, an exhibition will illustrate the question of the body in the Bible and in the Reformed Church.
