The Ordre national des pharmaciens invites you to discover its architectural heritage and its pharmacy history collections.

A visit to the headquarters of the National Order of Pharmacists will allow you to discover the history of the two private mansions, built at the end of the 19th century, that make up it today, as well as the history collections of the pharmacy it houses. The Menier drugger, designed by Jean Antoine Brutus Menier, is the major piece in the collections. Consisting of nearly 800 pots of blown glass, it brings together the essential drugs of the therapeutic arsenal in the 19th century.
In the lounges overlooking the Parc Monceau, you can discover an exhibition dedicated to the evolution of the profession of pharmacist through utilitarian objects (mortars and drumsticks, mouthpieces, stills), pharmacy pots, prints, posters and books offering a panorama of pharmaceutical history and art. You can also attend the demonstration of some galenical preparations.

The building of number 4* was built before 1875 by the architect Pellechet; in a rather sober neo-Gothic style, with a brick and stone facade decorated with a sculpted cornice of Renaissance style separating the ground floor from the first floor. Gaston Menier, the younger son of Émile-Justin, a famous chocolatier, acquired this mansion and moved there in 1879 after his marriage. He commissioned important works. On the avenue, the attic floor reserved for servants gave way to the current second floor, treated in the style of “Byzantino-Venetian”. He demoli
