On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the University of Paris Cité offers a guided tour of the Jeanne-Chauvin Library, inaugurated in 2018, and the Malakoff Faculty of Law.
Here you will learn the history of the Malakoff faculty, learn about architecture, in art nouveau and contemporary styles, and see from the inside the world of law and university libraries.
There will be a visit every hour.

The Jeanne Chauvin University Library opened its doors to the public in June 2018\. It is located in Malakoff, on the site of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Management of University Paris Cité. Financed by the Ile-de-France Region to the tune of 8.3 million euros, the new building is an original and ambitious project. The project manager, entrusted to Canal Architecture, wanted to position the new building in its environment as respectfully as possible. The architectural project also aimed at a graphic and chromatic resonance with the adjoining faculty, whose Art Deco building is included in the Additional Inventory of Historical Monuments. In addition to its classic documentary missions, the Jeanne Chauvin Library is also a place of support for pedagogy and a link with the professional world, a place where methodological help is found and where we prepare for the future.
