The parish of Ivry-Port was created in 1908. Several temporary chapels succeed one another until the development of a place of worship 41, rue de Seine (current rue Lenin) in a former garage. This church survived until it was destroyed by fire in 2000. Architects Jean-Pol Hindré and Jean-Claude Riguet were commissioned by the diocese of Créteil to build a new building. Its baptistery is a pot used by the Christian Madeleine Delbrêl (1933-1964) for the manufacture of Spanish confectionery.
