Visit of the MPP, presentation of its collections

Visits to the collections of the Médiathèque du patrimoine et de la photographie (MPP), from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September. Last admission at 6pm.
Visits are free of charge. They will be organised in groups of ten people as they arrive.
Guided tours of the collections of the Médiathèque du patrimoine et de la photographie (MPP) are organized on the occasion of the European Heritage Days. Moreover, and as last year, the MPP will welcome on its forecourt vehicles of collections lent by the French Federation of Vintage Vehicles (pre-war period until the end of the 80s). These vehicles will be displayed in a circle arch in front of the MPP from Friday morning to Sunday evening. The permanent exhibition, which presents the missions and collections of the MPP, is open to all. You will discover the treasures of the national heritage and the richness of the photographic collections of the Ministry of Culture.
In 2014, MPP moved into its premises, which had been rehabilitated by architect Pierre-Louis Faloci. This place is located on the former site of the seminary of Conflans. The Médiathèque du patrimoine et de la photographie is a national authority (SCN) under the authority of the Administration of Historic Monuments, which collects, preserves and enhances the archives of Historic Monuments (8 linear kilometres of archives, 200,000 plans, including 44,000 watercolours) and the state’s photographic heritage, with more than four million prints and fifteen million negatives.
