Franziska Gilli

Attend a working stage of this opera premiered at the Théâtre-Sénart before the premiere on 27 September. Philippe Jaroussky conducts the Orfeo de Sartorio (composed in Venice in 1672) with a troupe of young singers accompanied in a pit by the Ensemble Artaserse. In the inventive staging of Benjamin Lazar, and the scenography that explores the anatomy of souls, we are invited to the palace of Orpheus' madness and the constellation of the characters he brings there.

The Théâtre-Sénart is located in the heart of the Carré Sénart in Lieusaint. With its 2 rooms, one of 843 seats and the other, modular, which can accommodate 383 seats to nearly 1,200 seats called "standing" for concerts, the Théâtre-Sénart offers a rich and varied program for all audiences: theatre, dance, music, track arts, as well as programming for young audiences. There are more than 50 shows per season, with about 150 performances.
