Concerto Marathon
Between the hours spent working his instrument, the concerts until the end of the night with the permanent pressure of the false note, and the days lost in the transports to recover from the time shifts, the life of a professional musician is not far from that of a high-level athlete!
Throughout the day, the concerts are linked and the spectators enter and leave freely, to attend one of the concertos, or one of the workshops organized for young and old (initiation to breakdance and percussion). In a new atmosphere, between whistles, streamers and jerseys, the concert becomes as festive as a match! 3 moments punctuate this day of artistic prowess by our athletes-musicians: 11h: the Junior Marathon: A session specially designed for young people from 2 to 14 years around a short version of the Vivaldi Four Seasons. 14h: the Marathon des espoirs: Presented by Clément Rochefort, with young revelations soloists such as Louise Acabo (harpsichord), Gabrielle Rubio (flute) and young musicians from the CNSMDP who will be accompanied by Le Concert de la Loge. 16h: the Marathon des étoiles: Presented by Nelson Monfort with great invited international soloists such as: Julien Chauvin (violin), Vanessa Wagner (pianoforte), Astrig Siranossian (cello), etc.
At 2pm and 4pm workshops by age group (children from 6 to 11 years; young people and adults from 12 years) allow you to take a break in the concerts, or to enjoy the family concert while leaving your child for 45 minutes at the workshop before he is brought back to you. The Conccerto Marathon is part of the Olympic Forms Festival and takes place in the rich programming of the PUC at the Charléty Stadium, where you can also admire the contributions of visual artists, poets, etc.
