Snack break alert! Christelle, from Patiss&Collect, is waiting for you to cut a piece of fat, or a piece of bread instead! Bread is one of the main foods in the diet of Gallo-Romans, as such there were many types of bread in bakeries, but especially: ocella. A kind of cake cooked over a wood fire that the Gallo-Roman accompanied with both sweet and savory dishes. Ocella is both the sandwich and the pancake, the main course and the dessert. If this culinary curiosity already makes you want, go see Christelle, she will make you travel in the past in one bite! And since bread makes you thirsty, you will also be able to find something to drink… But not Gallo-Roman this time.
