Every day (Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September) several free one-hour visits are offered: / Visits «Forgotten treasures», at 11:30, 14:30, 16:00 and 17:30, all public, from 12 years; / Visit «On track for games», at 15:00, accessible to families, from 6 years old; / Visit «Parcours 2024», at 5pm, all public, from 12 years old.
The visits «En piste pour les jeux» and «Parcours 2024» invite you to (re)discover the collections of the museum from a new angle, through the Parcours 2024. This selection of works that seem at first glance to be related to sport leads you to go beyond appearances and to apprehend these objects in terms of their contexts of creation and use. For the occasion, the museum presents a sculpture of Ousmane Sow, Couple of wrestlers hand to hand, an exceptional loan from the Abattoirs Museum - Frac Occitanie Toulouse. In addition, a game booklet Track for games is available for free to allow visitors from 7 to 12 years to discover independently and having fun this unexpected course! The museum also takes advantage of the European Heritage Days to exceptionally open the doors of its research media library during visits «Forgotten treasures». You can discover the most precious works of the museum while exploring a unique place.
