During this theatrical tour of the castle, two puppeteers give life to the children of Marshal Berthier to transport you to the early nineteenth century.
Accompanied by their housekeeper and servant in period costume, Alexandre and his little sister Lina invite you to follow them during their daily rituals. You will witness Alexander’s awakening and then the children’s breakfast, their activities and games, crossing the rooms of the castle and its history. You will discover the life of these young aristocrats during a visit punctuated by charming sketches and small old rhymes (Brother Jacques, Little Lucas, Alouette on the branch and Malbrough).
A great introduction to history for young children from 3 to 7 years old.

À propos du lieu

Domaine de Grosbois
46 avenue de Grosbois 94440 MAROLLES-BRIE
  • Val-de-Marne
  • Île-de-France
Domaine de Grosbois Located on the outskirts of the capital, less than 15 km from the Hippodrome de Paris-Vincennes, the Domaine de Grosbois elegantly combines historical heritage and horse racing in an exceptional natural setting. More than 400 hectares are dedicated to the training of the French trotter.
Hidden behind its walls, the Grosbois training centre has everything a high-performance athlete can expect in terms of equipment, infrastructure and services. A team of about thirty men ensures its daily functioning and this in all weather, thus guaranteeing a pool of starters for the races of Vincennes. It is therefore a formidable working tool that in the high season, can accommodate up to 1500 horses.
But much more than a sports complex, Grosbois has become over the years a hymn to the glory of the discipline. Installed on the ground floor of the castle since 2010, the trot racing museum and its documentation center perpetuate the memory of the trot and restore it its nobility.
