Jackie Kennedy in Malmaison
On June 2, 1961, Jackie Kennedy discovered Malmaison on the occasion of the three-day state visit to France that the 35th president of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, elected for six months, performed at the invitation of General de Gaulle. It is driven by André Malraux, Minister of State, in charge of cultural affairs, in his official vehicle. On the occasion of the Heritage Days, an identical black Citroën DS 19 will be exhibited in the courtyard of the Château de Malmaison. Like André Malraux and Jackie Kennedy, come and photograph yourself in front of this mythical vehicle! Free visit all day. Other vehicles (sports line this time) can also be admired around the castle of Bois-Préau. Event organized in partnership with the French Federation of Vintage Vehicles (FFVE).
