The first wash-trough built in Gif between 1800 and 1805, the wash-house of Gibeciaux is the only one of the many wash-houses of Gif that has survived. Typical of the Hurepoix wash houses, it is characterized by its two sections of roofs (flat tiles) that face each other and tilt over the basin. The wooden frame is visible.
