As part of the third edition of its Matière(s) Scholarship, the Verrecchia Endowment Fund, offers artists from all backgrounds to explore the material stone in a privileged time of research and creation.
The residency welcomes 25 artists at the Château de la Maye (Versailles) from April 18 to August 19, 2023. An artist was welcomed (outside the walls), at the Camille Claudel Vocational High School (Remiremont) for a residency outside the . walls. The 25 winners have the opportunity to work with limestone through the prism of various categories; architecture, culinary design, olfactory, wood, innovative materials, music, glass, science and stone alone.
The research, creations and experiments will be presented at the Château de La Maye during a restitution exhibition named: Pierre: Matière(s) sensible, from September 16 to October 7, 2023.
