Presented in the historic salons of the Monnaie de Paris from March 30 to September 24, the exhibition «Money in Art» explores the links that artists have with money, whether to represent it or to carry a message in a changing society. The 200 works presented cover twenty centuries of art history, from Antiquity to Arman, Warhol and the NFTs, as well as Degas, Renoir and Manet.

Created in 864 by Charles le Chauve with the edict of Pitres, the Monnaie de Paris is the oldest institution in France and the oldest company in the world.
