Les Âmes Bien Nées

On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September 2023, the Dourdan troupe Les Âmes Bien Nées will have the pleasure of giving two new exceptional performances of its great show "Cyrano de Bergerac" by Edmond Rostand.
We will offer you a new immersive staging, at the castle of Courson, Domaine de Courson (Essonne) as part of the European Heritage Days.
A complete version of the rarely given piece, at a hectic pace, carried by a young troupe of 30 actors, stuntmen, fencers, dancers, singers, instrumentalists, riders. You will travel in all the outside spaces of the castle, closer to the characters who will evolve all around you.
🥰Delighted spectators during our premieres: "everything was perfect", "a brilliant staging", "an extraordinary troupe", "breathtaking", "absolutely fantastic", "masterful performance", "an incredible staging", "a play that upsets", "grandiose", "a memorable Cyrano", "incredible and monumental artistic slap"...

A prestigious residence steeped in history and a residence where plant heritage reigns supreme: these are the two faces of the Château de Courson. With its slate roofs, its harmonious volumes and its classic shape, which evokes a horseshoe and recalls the original mansion built in the sixteenth century, the castle of Courson, classified as a historical monument since 1944, is part of a certain French tradition. Home of the Speaker of Parliament, Guillaume de Lamoignon (17th century), then rehabilitated by the family of a general of Empire, the Duke of Padua (19th century), several original features give him his unique personality. It is a warm castle, thanks to the materials from the soil used for its construction. The stone in ferruginous sandstone, not grey as in Fontainebleau but white and yellow, blends perfectly with the local extraction brick, of a delicate orange. It is also a transparent home, characterized by a search for clarity. This is manifested in particular by the breadt
